JUERGEN

has worked for 30 years in the hospitality industry. He has run hotels and travel companies in Europe and Africa before starting his own company in New Zealand. He loves "God zone" as the Kiwis call New Zealand and enjoys doing all sorts of sports with the students and his kids. Juergen is responsible for the general operation of the company and loves to go on tour with his customers as often as possible.

MARTINA

German born, Martina studied law at the University of Frankfurt and emigrated to Auckland in 1993. Martina entered the tourism business through working for a programme that was placing high school students from Germany into schools and host families around the country. In combination with her marketing and sales background Martina also guides Tours to our overseas destinations. Martina's outside interests include adventure travel and caring for her 2 horses, two goats, two pigs, 3 calfs, 4 cats and a multitude of chooks on her farm in south of Auckland.

Julia is our Director for Customer Happiness and she will make sure that

you have a really good time here in New Zealand or in other countries.

Julia loves everything 'adventourous' and is just about to learn how to surf!

Ben is the youngest member of our team. He is our Good Time Manager and makes sure that everyone is happy and relaxed throughout the tour.

Ben is a keen Soccer - Arsenal & Braunschweig - fan and loves being on tour with you. At the beginning of next year he is about to study Adventoure Tourism.

 

ACTIVE PLANET:

We are a Tour operator based in New Zealand. The members of our team are all highly qualified, experienced and service minded with a feeling for educational and cultural travel. Our aim is to give visitors an understanding of the eco system, lifestyle and adventure this country has to offer.

 

New Zealand programs & Departure times:

We have tours every weekend and every school holiday somewhere in or around the country. Our tours are solely outside school time. Departure times for the weekend trips is coordinated with the arrival times of flights from destinations around the country. We also make sure that you will be able to reach your return flights on Sundays. Our programs are designed for students and adults who would like to combine nature with adventure.

 

We love New Zealand:

We have a lot of very unique features which cannot be found anywhere else. To see White Island- the volcanic Island; the longest sandspit on earth; the clearest springs on earth; the Nikau palm rainforests and more - there really is only one operator combining it..

 

Sydney, Gold Coast, the Cooks, New Caledonia:

Living close to Australia and the Pacific Islands we also have an inside knowledge of our neighbors. We like to show you around in the tropical Cooks, the french speaking New Caledonia and in Sydney and at the Gold Coast.

 

South Africa:

Juergen and Dirk have both lived for many years in South Africa and we love to show you more of this beautiful continent!

 

Iceland:

Juergen knows this volcanic country inside out and we are organizing a trip in

summer 2012.

 

Eastern Europe:

Eastern heritage allowed Juergen to get to know Eastern Europe at an early age. We show you some remote parts of this world.
