From Dunedin we head sought to the Catlin’s region. Our first stop is the Nugget Point viewpoint. A great walk to a lonely rock in the middle of the ocean and at the same time there is a good chance to see penguins.

Further south we reach Cannibal Beach; here you have the chance to see penguins, seals, sea lions and sea elephants! We have a look at the scenic Purakanui Waterfall before reaching Curio Bay. Lot’s of fossils can be found there and Porpoise Bay close by is a great place to go for a swim with dolphins.

We return via the Main Highway back to Dunedin
