Via the Takaka Hill we reach the beautiful scenery of Golden Bay - this area is renown for it's unique beauty with golden beaches, rainforest, the clearest springs on earth, wild rock formations and longest sandspit on earth.

We have a look at the rock formations on top of the hill; enjoy a stroll through rainforest to the clearest springs on earth before driving to a viewpoint on top of the longest sand spit on earth. We also visit one of the most scenic beaches on the planet - 'Wharariki Beach' - we start our walk to the beach in green paddocks before dropping down white sand dunes to this amazing beach with its stunning rock formations.

On our way back we allow time for the hippie capital ' Takaka' before making our way back to the Nelson region.
