Great Barrier Island is a gem north of the Coromandel Peninsula. Unspoiled sandy beaches mix in with rainforest, great harbours and a unique flavour and environment. The 800 or so inhabitants have no power station and a lot of hippies and real characters have made this island their home.

The Guidebooks will tell you that it is like 'New Zealand 30 years ago".

This is a great place to go surfing, kayaking, fishing, diving or to relax in this unique, pristine environment.

We got two options for you, you can join us on a Ferry crossing on Thursday or Friday morning. We have included in this price the 4 hour crossing through the magnificent Hauraki gulf ( and return), the accommodation, the Breakfasts and Dinners, A sightseeing tour around the island, the Transport and Fuel and half a day of Kayaking.

You will have of course many more options: Go Diving, lean how to surf, go fishing, mountain biking, hiking or  simply relax, take photos or listen to the bird songs.
